CELLTECH

Product Description

Cell-Tech provides 10 grams of HPLC-tested pure Creatine Monohydrate per serving! After ingestion of Creatine Monohydrate, the human body experiences a 50% creatine receptor-cite downgrade, peaking after approximately six hours. As a result, large does of Creatine (up to 10 grams) will need to be consumed over a period of time to maximize cellular uptake. The inclusion of a nutraceutical dose of Dextrose (75 g.) is the same dosage advocated by the World Health Organization for physicians to assess the efficiency of insulin production in potential diabetic patients. This dosage may maximize insulin output, which is necessary for optimum creatine uptake. Sports nutrition experts and trainers alike realize that insulin is the most anabolic hormone in the body. Once stimulated, it drives carbohydrates, amino acids (protein) and creatine monohydrate molecules into muscle cells. For this reason, MuscleTech Research & Development has added a powerful insulin potentiator called Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Consumer Reviews

Bryan of Illinois, USA writes:

I have been using cell tech for about 3 weeks now and have noticed pretty good gains with it, I take 1 scoop of it after my workout then 45 min. later I take 2 scoops of nitro tech...its been working pretty good.

John of Ohio, USA writes:

I agree with Joe from Oregon, however, loading stage which is only 5 days, you'll be taking 20g of creatine. It's a bit much, but it's a tremendous jump start you'll need. Once that's complete, you go into maintenance stage which is then 10g of creatine. Sure it's a bit much and yes that's a high amount of carbs, however, if you do a strenuous workout, and I mean strenuous as in 2+ hr workout (or total body workout), then the muscles become hungry and that 'spike' is essentially then. Otherwise, doing a 20 min workout or less than an 1, 5g of creatine will do it. So depends if you want to mass up fast, I reccommend cell tech right off, stick with it for few weeks, and then taper down to a reasonable level. Your body will adjust and it will get used to the shock, and then, take it easy. Too much creatine will kill your kidneys and theres no reason to do that. Be sensible, and you'll be fine. Good deal!

Joe of Oregon, USA writes:

Cell Tech, just like all other muscle-tech products, is absurd. The Muscle-Tech mentality is if you take more, you will yield greater results (such as Hydroxycut recommending up to 40 times the recommended safe dosage of ephedra). One serving of Cell-Tech provides 10g of creatine, 5g is all anyone needs (unless they have a ton of muscle mass). Also the 70+ grams of carbohydrates is extremely unhealthy. Creatine is transported into muscles via insulin. Insulin's job is to breakdown sugars, this is why creatine is recommended to be taken with juice and carbs. When taking it with 70+ grams of carbs an insulin spike occurs and your body's insulin levels are plentiful, hence better creatine absorption. The bad news is the FDA recently stated that insulin spikes are incredibly unhealthy and are a major cause of heart disease. I recommend taking EAS's phosphagen or phosphagen HP for creatine supplementation. Muscle-Tech does however have great protein/meal replacement supplements.
