Product Description
Xenadrine the #1 diet supplement is now Ephedra Free!
It was only four years ago that Cytodyne Technologies first
made history with the introduction of the original Xenadrine RFA-1. Never before
had a diet supplement produced such amazing clinically proven results. Millions
of people lost the fat, transformed their physiques, and along the way, helped
make Xenadrine the #1 diet supplement in America. And yet, the researchers at
Cytodyne continued to push the envelope in search of an even greater thermogenic
breakthrough.
Mission accomplished! Introducing new Xenadrine-EFX, the next generation in
advanced thermogenic technology.
This amazing, patent-pending formula
produces an entirely new level of effectiveness never before seen in the diet
supplement industry. In fact, it is the first product ever to be powered by an
ultra-potent blend of natural, clinically proven metabolic compounds that work
synergistically to produce unprecedented fat-burning results—without containing
ephedrine!
New Xenadrine-EFX ultimately provides the most effective approach to losing
weight ever developed! That may sound like a bold statement, but remember, this
innovative formula was created by the same researchers that brought you the
original Xenadrine. And like its predecessor, Xenadrine-EFX is the culmination
of years of intense investigation into the sciences of nutrition, thermogenesis
and metabolic activation. The end result is a true thermogenic breakthrough that
is unequaled in its ability to increase metabolism and promote the fastest
possible fat-loss, muscle-sparing results.
In one major university study,
the increase in metabolic activity and caloric expenditure produced by
Xenadrine-EFX was so extraordinary that even the researchers were shocked. In
further case studies, participants lost up to 20 pounds of fat in only 14 days
time! These stunning results were up until now, completely unheard of!
Scientists believe that Xenadrine-EFX is so much more effective at promoting
rapid fat loss because it directly targets a multitude of key metabolic
pathways, simultaneously! This is a scientific first!
And on the way,
this one-of-a-kind supplement also greatly enhances mental focus and acuity,
increases energy, suppresses appetite and provides valuable antioxidant
activity, all at the same time.

I have been on Xenadrine EFX for 4 days. I have a lot more energy, feel more
mentaly alert wich i really enjoy & my appetite has gone down but if i dont
eat healthy then i am hungry at the end of the day. I dont have a scale in my
home so I dont know if i have lost any weight. i would like to loose 60 pounds.
I sit infront of a computer 40hrs a week. I have started fast past walking
30mins a day. The side effects I believe I have (since I have not felt them
before i started to use this) is my body aches, mostly my feet, when I stand up
& this morning I gently knocked my bed frame with my leg & it hurt like
i had a bruse but I dont, but the aches all go away after I had been up &
about. My personality has also changed just a little I am a patient easy going
person & every once in a while something will happen like the door not
closing properly & it rubs me the wrong way I have a small outburst of
rudness toward that item. I will continue to use xenadrine efx until the bottle
is gone & if I like what has happened I will purchase more.

This is the first time I have tried a weight loss supplement and so far I
love it. I am guy, 5'11", 205lbs. I work out 4 times a week and eat a pretty
sensible diet. I have "plateaud" with my diet.exercise program and have given
this a try. It has increased my energy tremendously and my workouts have never
been better. I am not overweight by any means. However, my biggest problem has
been getting enough energy to do my workouts because I am dieting. All I want to
do is retain/sculpt the muscle and loose the fat. I have seen a definitiw
advantage with this product. I don't believe you can just take this product and
expect to be fit/thin. You must combine it with a sensible diet and exercise. I
have had some minor side effects wuch as light headaches, but they are going
away. I am only taking 2 pills a day, one in the morning and one at lunch.
Kristin of New York, USA writes:
I'm on day 2 of Xenadrine EFX and have had no overwhelming reactions to it. I
am not jittery but that is probably because I am used to drinking coffee
throughout the day. I have noticed that I am a little more alert than usual. I
am using the pills as a boost to my workout routine and am not looking to lose a
massive amount of weight. Even though I am slightly under 150lbs, I have been
taking 4 pills per day which has not posed any problem for me. I noticed on day
1 that after taking 2 pills in the morning I was starving by the afternoon but
that might've been because I only ate a bowl of cereal. I was also a bit
nauseous but after eating a few crackers I was ok. I'll continue with this
product provided that I don't suffer any severe side effects in the coming
weeks. However, it does cause me to urinate quite frequently throughout the day
but I'm willing to put up with that!
Jenny of Oregon, USA writes:
I am a 5'5" 132 pound female with the goal of losing 10 more pounds of body
fat. Have lost 40 so far. I have been taking xenadrine efx for 3 weeks. Began
1st week with half dose. So far I have gained 4 pounds. First week I had to
urinate very frequently and had higher energy. Both have tapered off. I feel
bloated. My appetite for food is increased but I do not eat large amounts of
food because I can't! I get full very quick with small amounts of food and I eat
more frequent small meals. I am excercising more now than I was before and
lifting weights 4 times per week with cardio about 4 times also. I am hoping
weight gain may be related to muscle gain or water retention. I am going to
finish bottle and if I don't feel smaller I will not continue with xenadrine.
BTW, last year I lost 20 pounds with a competitor's ephedra based product. I
have not gained any of that weight back. I will consider trying the "H" product
with ephedra again. I will update later.

I am by far not someone who is taking Xenadrine to lose weight -- just wanted
something to kick up my work out a little more and increase my metabolism. So I
only take 1 pill daily before a work-out session. Now I get the most out of my
workouts, I love the gym. I'm not sure if it's because of the Xenadrine, but
I've gained about 3-4 pounds of muscle (probably because of all the weight
training). The first week I started taking Xenadrine, however, I noticed that
after my workout I felt somewhat nauseous. Once I tried taking 2 pills before a
workout, and for the rest of the day I felt nauseous and was deathly pale. Now I
am around week 4, and I still take only 1 pill a day, and the nauseous effects
have vanished. Working out has never been so pleasurable.

I started using Xenadrine EFX on January 1st, 2003. So I've been on it for 1
month and 1 week. First of all, it really boosted my energy. I walk 2-5 miles 5
or 6 times a week. I've also been weight training and doing Pilates. (which is
also really great). At first, I only lost a couple pounds in 2 weeks, and I
started to get discouraged. And then, within the next two weeks... i lost 7 lbs.
In the last week... i have lost another 5 lbs. 2.5 inches in my belly and 1 inch
in both my arms and 2 inches in my chest. I'M SOOO EXCITED! Hmm... side
effects... occasionally, I get a couple of heart flutters. Nothing that alarms
me much. A definite energy boost. My blood pressure has been a bit higher. I
have had an incredible mood boost. I have been suffering from anxiety and
depression, but in the last month or so I have seen an big difference. My
appetite has been slightly suppressed. All in all, i think cytodyne did a good
job. I have alot more weight to lose. (about 50 lbs) I'll try to post again in a
few months.

I am a mother of three young children, the youngest is 1. I've had a hard
time this past year getting motivated to lose the excess weight after having the
baby & find the time with my hectic schedule to work in an excercise routine
again. I started taking Xenadrine EFX five days ago and have a terric results
already, with no side effects. I've found that in just the few days that I've
been using this product, my energy during the day is great for helping me keep
up with my kiddos, but isn't over the top. I was surprised that I've been
sleeping a lot better that past few nights as well. I haven't gotten on a scale
yet, but have definitely noticed that several pants and shirts are already much
looser. As others have mentioned & fitness reviews have stated, everyone is
unique and this product isn't for everybody, but it has done great things for me
in only five days - absolutely love it.
Heather of Ontario, Canada writes:
OK. I just started this product a few days ago. Im confused, am I supposed to
take the pills THEN work out right after I've taken the pills? Because this
morning I took the pills then waited 30 mins or so (had more morning tea) before
i went to work out. I actually feel more tired than I did before I started
taking these pills. I feel like crawling into bed to take a nap than working
out. I feel absolutely no energy boost, nor do I feel a suppressed appetite. I
was told I might have a high tolerance to caffeine so I upped my dose from 2
pills a day to 4.
Drew of California, USA writes:
This is my 4th day on Xenadrine EFX. So far it seems to be working. My
appetite has noticeably decreased and I have experienced a significant gain in
energy while exercising. I went running with a friend last night who previously
had outrun me on every occasion and I ran so fast that he had to pull up 3/4 of
the way through our run to rest. I am 5'8" and weigh 190 pounds and I'm hoping
to get down to around 165 pounds, which I weighed about a year ago.
Unfortunately, I have had the jitters and awoke last night with a dull pain that
was shooting down the left side of my upper torso. If this continues I will
discontinue usage.

lot of people say it makes them hungry....I think it's a similar side effect to
hunger, my stomach also feels kind of funny like when you are really
hungry...however I am eating 3 low calorie meals a day and know that I am in
fact not hungry..so I can deal with this. Will update more when I have
progressed some.

This is my second day on EFX. Over the last year or so I lost 50lbs and I
have hit a wall pretty much. I am looking for something to boost my metabolism
and help to reach my goal weight. I have started just taking 1 pill 2x a day. No
major side effects, except my heart rate has increased while working out and my
appetite has increased, even though it is supposed to supress your appetite. No
jitters or anything unlike my friend who is on Hydroxycut and is having all
sorts of side effects. In two days I have lost 2lbs, so we'll see if it
continues.
Jessie of California, USA writes:
First day of taking Xenadrine EFX, didn't really feel any discomfort. But, I
went running and I feel great. I could actually feel the endless amount of
energy generated by my muscles. And guess what, before my legs gave up, my mouth
actually was freezing because the wind was blowing and it was cold, I'll carry
on for the next few weeks and hopefully I'll lose the weights I have always
wanted to lose. I think I made the right choice this time. Great work

I bought this product wanting to lose about 10 pounds of fat. I wanted to get

lose thanks to this product. And apparently I'm not the first.

I took xenadrine efx for a few weeks. I didn't notice a lot of weight loss,
but I did lose inches!! I can wear a medium top now. Before I was a large. My
legs are a bit thinner too. Also, for some reason, the little bit of cellulite I
had on the back of my legs towards the top is gone?? weird.. I didn't really
excercise I just tried to eat healthy. Which was easy because it is a great
appetite suppressant! I took a month off and I am going back on, this time I'm
going to exercise and see what happens. I want to lose 10-15 pounds so I can get
into a size 8 or 9. I'll let you know what happens.
Rachel of Idaho, USA writes:
I also started Xenadrine EFX three days ago. I have felt pretty good overall.
Though I can relate to some of the side effects others have mentioned. First of
all I have to go to the bathroom several times a day. This isn't a bad thing,
just a little annoying at times. Once in a while I feel my heart palpatating,
but very briefly, (scary though). Sudden headaches have come up but they don't
last long. As for weight loss and energy gain Xenadrine has been successfull. I
think I'm going to finish out the bottle and then call it quits. I don't want to
use it too long and it will work as a boost in my new dieting. I am 5'7",
210lbs, looking to lose about 60lbs.
Angie of California, USA writes:
This is my 3rd week on Xenadrine EFX and i've lost 5lbs since. Last week I
began to feel a slight discomfort like is something was stuck in my chest and i
couldn't swallow it, it was a slight feeling which i feel when i take the 2nd
dosage at mid-afternoon. I drink plenty of water to make it go down but i still
feel it. Overall, I was hoping to lose weight faster but it's only been 5lbs.
One of my friends took it for 3 weeks and she lost 20lbs, but not me.
Jaime of Rheinland Pflaz, Germany writes:
Started taking 1 pill for a couple of days, got slightly jittery (then again
I don't drink much caffeine so I'm not used to the stimulant), then increased to
2 pills for 2 more days. I have regular heart palpatations that are not harmful,
but on the 2/day days, they were more frequent and kept me awake. If you have
any history of heart palpatations, I would strongly suggest NOT to take this
product without consulting a doctor.

Increased urination (up to once an hour), severe thirst, and slight nervousness.
At this point, I'll stick with it for a few more days to see what happens. Since
I weigh less than 150 lbs, I've started with 2 capsules per day, if I decide to
stick with it, I may continue with this dosage for longer than just one
week.

I started to use this product 3 days ago. Since I'm under 150 pounds, I used
1/2 of what is recommended, 2 pills a day. The first day..i was full of energy
but I was had the shakes. The 2nd day, I still had tons of energy but I had an
bad headache. The 3rd day, my headache was soooo bad that I couldn't get out of
bed. I couldn't sleep but couldn't get out of bed. Today, is the 4th daybut i
didn't take the pills today, and my headache is still there..just not bad. I
usually get headache here and there but I think that Xenadrine EFX made it more
intense. I'm returning it to GNC tomorrow ;)

Just wanted to say that I really rate this product. I started using xenadrine
efx 3 days ago and it has reduced my appetite dramatically, it has also given me
a minor mood 'boost' as well. I am only taking one tablet per day to test it out
and so far I have lost about 3lbs. No side effects either, I was skeptical at
first but I have to say this is an excellent product.
Jasmine of Texas, USA writes:
Well, I started taking this 3 days ago very reluctantly. I have been working out at least 30 minutes cardio a day (now up to
an hour)with lifting weights 3x's week since Feb 2002. Since then I have lost 40
pounds, but have noticed that the rate of loss (which used to be about 5 pounds
a month) dropped down to 2 pounds a month. SO FRUSTRATING! So I have been
revamping my program. Learned since I have lost some weight that my BMR has
dropped from 1900 cal to 1775 cal. I am now trying to burn 1,000 a day, and
eating between 1400 and 1600 cal a day. I have a pretty pronounced bad reaction
to caffeine (jitters, bad headaches, lack of sleep), so in taking Xenadrine, I
knew from the start I would have to take 1/2 the suggested amount. One cap in
the morning, and one cap at lunch. Here is what I have noticed: 1) I can work
out harder and longer. 2) I have small tiny pains in my chest after 3 days and
it worries the crap out of me. 3) In those 3 days I have dropped 3 pounds. So,
on one hand, I want to continue. I like the foreseeable results, and I want to
kickstart my program. But on the other, I worry that I may be that 1% that gets
a heart attack or dies from taking it. I am giving this 4 more days for a total
week and will see how I feel then.

I've tried all the thermogens and metabolizers over the past three years when
my fitness efforts got serious. Then, in recent months, came all the ephedra
scares and horror stories. Well, after cycling on and off all the thermogens for
three years, I finally started on Xenadrine EFX. What a disappointment. No power
boost. A very insignificant increase in heart rate on the cardio machines. It is
almost completely ineffective for me. Not even a good placebo because heart
monitors at the gym don't lie. I've gained 20+ pounds in the two months I've
been on this. Oh well. Back to the ephedras. (Hydroxcut, Ripped Fuel) Maybe some
danger, but not nearly as dangerous as the growing obesity that Xenadrine EFX
has allowed.

I have been taking Xenadrine EFX now for several months, and while I have not

cardio it will still only have a nominal effect. Blows away Hydroxycut though as
those gave me the shakes, bad.

After three weeks---Use has been somewhat sporadic. A two-pill dose twice a

in a racing heartbeat along with the energy boost. Although I'm far from a
medical professional, my degree in biology definitely leads me to believe that
the bulk of the effect felt by these pills comes from the caffeine. Again,
that's just an opinion. As far as my experiment with supplements, it's over. I
am discontinuing use. Thankfully, wedding planning is going along extremely
well, allowing me the time to get back to the gym more steadily. My advice--put
in the sweat etiquette. You'll get better, longer lasting results. Best of luck
to you!

weight loss in a few weeks, combined, of course, with exercise and diet.

Let me just say that it is difficult to find something that can compete with

Day 1 of taking Xenadrine EFX. I definitely noticed an increase in energy

the pill or the result of getting more sleep lately. This is the first time I've

hoping to drop 10-15 pounds by the big day. Updates will continue and here' to
hoping it works.

The first day I took EFX was an awakening. EFX gives you so much more energy
than a cup of coffee. However, EFX does not give you a "jittery" effect. I
strongly suggest drinking nothing but water with EFX because anymore intake of
caffeine will definitely be too much. EFX also seems to keep me going all day
long even hours I have taken the daily dosage.
Hector of Texas, USA writes:
Have just started the supplement, so this will be a "journey" journal. Will
continue to follow up. EFX made me hungrier, but also gave me more energy. It
makes me feel more awake than taking a cup of coffee, which is what they
compared the stimulant action to. The stuff isn't bad at this point, but if you
are a person that has a problem with horse pills, think about this one! I was at
215, (I am a 5'7" male), and in the three days went to 213. Other than the
hungries, it's prestty good for giving you the energy boost. That is where a
diet and excercise program needs to start, the boost off the couch or chair.
This does it. Please, PLEASE!! If you have risk factors, check with the doc. I
am low risk, though I have sleep apnea. It's a good supplement, but only you can
maximize its effectiveness.
